"TITHING"
Tithing is important! ~ It is for today's believer!
The law of tithing is perhaps the most important law in the Bible!
Many people have asked this question
DO I "HAVE" TO GIVE TITHES?
No!...God will not force anyone to obey Him
NEITHER DO YOU "HAVE" TO
Accept JESUS as your personal LORD & SAVIOR!
God has given each of us a free will to make our own decisions,
it's up to each of us to make the right ones.
What will happen to a person if they choose not to tithe?
I encourage each person who reads this to study
their Bible, then ask God to show them the answer.
Each person is responsible for working out their own salvation
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed,
not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence,
work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Philippians 2:12
Many Christians are not taught the correct biblical principles of tithing!
Some churches teach a "friendly" version of these laws
because they are afraid they might offend some of the congregation.
I have heard it said..."I cannot afford to tithe"
This is looking at tithing through "worldly eyes"
I have also heard it said..."I cannot afford not to tithe"
This is looking at tithing through "Godly eyes"
According to recent surveys conducted by churches of
major denominations, only about eighteen percent
of the congregations "tithe" regularly and correctly.
The Tithe & Offering should be given as the
Holy Spirit impresses you to give.
Remember an offering is given "AFTER" the tithe.
Giving is "NOT" an offering until
The requirement of the tithe is first met!
God wants us to give back to Him cheerfully
a portion of what He has given us.
For God loves a cheerful giver!
