sarge5575 was born a "civilian" in the year of our Lord,
one thousand, nine hundred and thirty six.

In those days many mama's delivered their babies at home.
I was born in the front bedroom of the old Asa G. Candler home,
1069 Seaboard Avenue N.E., Atlanta, Georgia.

We lived there until 1950 ~ moving twice to California.
To Eureka prior to the war & again to Eureka after the war.
In 1950 we moved to Hapeville where we lived until I joined the service.

Note: In 1891 Atlanta entrepreneur Asa G. Candler acquired
ownership of the Coca-Cola business for $2,300.
